Teladoc's Healthcare Complete is a student assistance program designed to support international students to resolve mental and physical health concerns. Teladoc’s friendly and caring licensed therapists and psychiatrists are available to help with a broad range of mental health needs, including prescribing medications. Additional resources include live coaching, digital programs, diverse language providers and 24/7 crisis care. Students can call or video chat with no limit and no out of pocket cost.

The Togetherall Online Community is designed to provide a safe and anonymous place for students to get online peer support. They have registered mental health practitioners on hand 24/7 to keep the community safe.

SCHOLASTIC EMERGENCY SERVICES (SES) AN ASSIST AMERICA PARTNER

Students, staff or parents should contact Scholastic Emergency Services if there is a life-threatening emergency or illness. Scholastic Emergency Services is a service-arranger, not insurance, so please contact them first as they can not reimburse for any services you pay for or use.  Scholastic Emergency Services will not pay for services on a reimbursement basis, so you must contact them immediately.

How do I access my insurance ID card?

To watch our video on how to access your insurance ID card, please click here.

To print your ID card, login to your account through the Student Login.

Once you are at the login screen, your username is your student ID number, and your password is your birthday (mmddyyyy). For example: July 8, 1998 would be 07081998.

You can change your password at any time. If this is your first time logging in to your account, you will be asked to select and answer a security question in case you forget your password.

After you have logged in, click on “Start Here!” in the upper left-hand corner and select “Online ID Card”. Your ID card will come up as a PDF document, and you will be able to save it directly to your computer, your phone or print it out.

How do I access my insurance brochure?
To access your brochure please visit your school’s custom LewerMark webpage. You can search for your school by visiting our home page. If you have a difficult time finding your school, please email us at [email protected] or call us at 800.821.7710.
What is a copay?

This is the amount of out of pocket expenses that you must pay the doctor, clinic, or hospital for each visit.

 

What is an Explanation of Benefits?

An Explanation of Benefits, or EOB, is a form you will receive online if you visit a provider. It shows the charges, discounts, and any amount that is still owed. You will also receive an email that your EOB is available online to review. An EOB is not a bill.

When should I use the Emergency Room?

Hospital Emergency Rooms (ERs) are set up to focus on medical emergencies, not routine health care. Many health problems are not emergencies. If you are unsure whether the problem is an emergency:

  • Teladoc provides students with 24/7/365 access to U.S. board-certified doctors by phone. Teladoc is a convenient and affordable option that allows you to talk to a doctor who can diagnose, recommend treatment and prescribe medication, when appropriate, for many of your medical issues.
  • Go to your Student Health Center or walk-in clinic, if open
  • Go to the ER if you feel the problem is so serious that it cannot wait until your Student Health Center or walk-in clinic is open
