After calling 911 for a life-threatening emergency or illness, your next call should be Scholastic Emergency Services (SES). Their team is standing by 24/7, ready to help connect you with services that can complete the care you need.
Caring Emergency Support
Compassionate guidance during an emergency provides not only the support you need but also a sense of calm and clarity. SES, provided by Assist America, connects international students and scholars to services that go beyond healthcare, such as:
- Medical evacuation or repatriation
- Critical care monitoring
- Bringing a family member to the U.S.
- Medical trauma counseling
- Family reunion support after a loss
After getting help through 911, call SES as soon as possible. They will help coordinate and arrange services on your behalf to ensure you receive the support you need.
